Current grade: Quenched & tempered alloy steel, Rm≥1040 MPa, heavy-duty joints. Swapping grade/material changes strength and corrosion resistance (e.g. 8.8→10.9 raises strength, 304→316 raises chloride resistance), re-check design load and environment before substitution.

How do I choose the finish?

Hydrogen-embrittlement safe for high-strength bolts; stable assembly friction. Other finishes (HDG, Dacromet, electro zinc) can be quoted on the same size.
