Where GB/T 5783 bolts are specified
The fully threaded hexagon head bolt is a default fastener wherever a drawing calls for a coarse-thread bolt with a head that takes a standard wrench.

Structural steelwork
Bolted connections in frames, bracing and base plates, where the drawing names a fully threaded hex bolt rather than a partially threaded one.

Machine building
Frames, guards and sub-assemblies assembled with coarse-thread hex bolts, including sizes down to M3.

Solar mounting structures
Module rails and support frames that call for a fully threaded hex bolt in the property class named on the drawing.

General fabrication
Brackets, supports and equipment skids where M3–M30 hex bolts are the working default and the thread runs full length.
These are specifying contexts, not project references.
What stands behind the supply
Three things are fixed before the quote: which line makes the parts, what is inspected, and which document travels with the lot.
Own lines plus qualified partner plants
Production runs on the group’s own lines and on partner plants we have visited and qualified on site: Hebei, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Wenzhou.
Inspection points agreed in writing
What is checked, and which certificate or record travels with the lot, is agreed with the plant in writing and named on the order.
Process risk controlled during production
Heat treatment temperature, galvanizing thickness and hydrogen embrittlement are set during production, and none of them is visible at a final dimensional check. They are confirmed with the plant before we quote.
Certificates issued by the plant
Certificates are issued by the plant for each batch. The exact document type is confirmed with the mill before we quote and named on the order.
Surface finishes in this standard
The finishes below are the ones recorded against GB/T 5783 hex head bolts in our catalogue. Availability by diameter is read live; coating class, thickness and salt-spray requirement are named on the order.
Electroplated zinc
Zinc plating with passivation. The coating class and any salt-spray hours are confirmed on the order.
Available in M3–M30
Hot-dip galvanized
For a dipped part the coating sits on the thread as well, so the thread fit after coating is agreed before quoting.
Available in M3–M30
Black oxide
Black oxide finish for dry or oiled service. Supplied oiled unless the order names otherwise.
Available in M6–M24
Zinc-aluminium flake (Dacromet)
Flake coating applied without hydrogen embrittlement risk. The corrosion requirement is named on the order.
Available in M3–M30
Stainless, uncoated
A2 (304) and A4 (316L) stainless, supplied without a coating; passivation on request.
A finish listed here means the catalogue records it, not that every length is stocked in it. Anything outside the list is quoted to your drawing. Compare coating families and their standards

Questions buyers ask
What is the minimum order?
One ton, and sizes can be combined inside that same order — you do not need a ton per size.
Can you supply to DIN 933 or ISO 4017?
Yes. DIN 933 and ISO 4017 are equivalent standards for GB/T 5783. Order to either and we supply to GB/T 5783, confirming thread and detail on the order.
Is GB/T 5783 fully threaded?
Yes. GB/T 5783 is the fully threaded hexagon head bolt: the thread runs from the end of the shank to the head. For a partially threaded bolt, the equivalent standards are GB/T 5782 / DIN 931.
Which property classes are available?
Carbon steel 8.8 / 10.9 / 12.9 and stainless A2-70 (304) / A4-70 (316L); selected sizes also carry 4.8 and A4-80.
What document can be named on the order?
A mill test certificate (MTC) is the traceability document for the heat that became your parts. If your scope calls for EN 10204 3.1, the certificate must carry measured values traceable to that heat; we confirm the document type with the plant before quoting and name it on the order.
Can you make lengths that are not listed?
Yes. Standard lengths are supplied to GB/T 5783; lengths outside the list are quoted to your drawing, with thread length and tolerance stated.
